In the afternoon of Sep 4th 2019, vessel “Fabulous” successfully completed the commissioning test for EGC system during the on-going sea trial.
Vessel “Fabulous” is a new-built 180,000 dwt Capesize vessel. “Fabulous” was owned by TCM and was built by SWS. This is the first-time show of ContiOcean’s EGC system on new-built vessels.
From Sep 3rd to the noon of Sep 4th, after day and night’s unremitting efforts from shipowner, ship surveyors, shipyard andContiocean, the commissioning test of the desulfurization system eventuallycame to a successful completion.
Shipowner, ship crew, ship surveyors and shipyard have all expressed their satisfaction and compliment for the ContiOcean EGC system.
